Saharanpur is one of western Uttar Pradesh's oldest mango belts, and its orchards keep fruiting after most of India's mango season has ended. Chausa, the last great North Indian mango, ripens here in July and August. We are scouting land now and will lease a plot only after soil and water tests, once enough Delhi NCR families reserve.

Chausa ripens late, so it needs a long, hot summer and the monsoon to finish. Western UP's deep alluvium and long summers suit it, and Saharanpur's orchards are the late-season belt closest to Delhi.
