Questions
Is anything charged when I send a request?
No. A request isn't an order yet. We confirm the grower, price and delivery day with you first, and you pay only after you say yes, by secure payment link (UPI or card) or bank transfer to the UGAANA account named on your confirmation.
Why are prices 'about'?
Fresh produce prices move with the season and the harvest. The prices here are indicative, per pack, delivered in Jaipur. Your confirmation shows the final price before you pay, and if it's higher than you expected, you can simply say no.
Who grows it?
Partner growers in the regions shown on each item. We're onboarding growers now and confirm who grew your produce with every order. We don't claim organic; if a grower is certified, we'll say so and show the certificate.
Where do you deliver?
Jaipur, for now. If you're in another city, send a request anyway with your city in the notes, especially for mango pre-bookings, and we'll tell you what's possible.
When do deliveries start?
As soon as our food business (FSSAI) registration and the first grower agreements are in place. Send a request now and you'll be among the first we confirm.
What if something arrives damaged or poor?
Tell us on WhatsApp within 24 hours with a photo. We'll replace that item or refund it for that item, whichever you prefer.
I'm an UGAANA member. Can I sell my surplus harvest here?
Not yet. Selling members' harvest opens only once we've confirmed with our lawyers that it's allowed. You can ask to be told when, from the Harvest page in your member app. Until then, you can donate surplus or keep it as farm credit.
I'm a grower. Can I sell through UGAANA?
Yes, please tell us what you grow on our partner page. We agree a price per kilo with you before each season or batch, and the rest of your crop stays yours to sell anywhere.
